Community Consultation

Our Community Engagement Guiding Principles

Community Consultation Commitment

Bowelling Wind Farm intends to develop, build and operate a proposed wind farm in the Shire of West Arthur, which means we want to be part of the community now and for generations to come. The team wants to actively engage with the community, local councils and businesses, landholders, and government ensuring everyone's voice is heard throughout the development process.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships. This happens through open and transparent two-way engagement which allows us to understand local insights and work together to address any concerns.

Local Sponsorships and Grants

Vestas is committed to sharing the benefits of our renewable energy development with the communities we work alongside. In line with the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) Guide to Benefit Sharing, we strive to ensure that the rewards of our proposed wind farm contribute equitably to the vitality and future success of the region in which the wind farm will operate.

The Bowelling Wind Farm is keen to hear where we can be involved in the local community and sponsor local groups or events. If you have an event or worthy cause coming up in need of funding, please apply for support using the link below:
